DJ. TALESPINN
Jayar (DJ TALESPINN) was born in Virginia and raised in San Diego, California. At the age of 12, he was introduced to DJing by a friend named Jeff. Driven by his love of music DJ TALESPINN was so energized and enthusiastic in perfecting the art of mixing and scratching that made him spend countless hours mastering the talent. He soon began his career by DJing house parties, colleges, and eventually going to club gigs.
In 1995, DJ TALESPINN joined a DJ group known as Sounds in Style. This group is where he learned the remainder of the skills with the help of his fellow crew members, DJ Rob-Style, DJ Essence, and DJ Seer.
Shortly after, DJ TALESPINN left Sound In Style in order to pursue his own DJ crew, which is now known as INFAMOUS DJS, comprised of his five close friends (DJ OUTRAGE, DJ PHANATIK, DJ J-STEELZ, DJ KRIS-PEE-PATA, and DJ T-RECKS). During the birth of INFAMOUS DJS, Turntablism was very popular. DJ.Talespinn and the crew were living the high life working with their passion, mixing, scratching and beat juggling. DJ TALESPINN found inspiration from the famous ISP (Invisible Scratch Piklz), Beat Junkies, and The X-Men (The X-Ecutioners). He has continued to grow in his talents and seeks inspiration from all aspects of life.
Over time, towards the closing of the 20th Century, the INFAMOUS DJS had taken a sabbatical in order to pursue life goals, establish families, and further their educations. In 2006, DJ TALESPINN decided to bring back Infamous DJs together again. Now, they are all once again united...with some new additions to help liven the crowd.
With many gigs DJ.Talespinn has done in his life as a DJ, club gigs was always one of his favorites. The best experience he had was DJing for the Internet Radio Station called Jelly Radio (www.JellyRadio.com)
